The Nest is a community-led charity at the forefront of delivering health and wellbeing activities locally.
We support the most vulnerable in the community, including those with physical and mental health challenges. Many have experienced significant trauma, self-harm, drug addiction, and hardship. We help address the challenges these individuals face.
We deliver creative writing, art therapy, personal development and wellbeing workshops, mindfulness, reiki, acudetox sessions, a breakfast club, and a community living room.
We also have a programme that focuses on learning and development, offering opportunities for growth through a range of learning experiences.
We deliver weekly sessions and blocks of activity by creating a positive and nurturing environment to encourage people to feel accepted, understood, and celebrated for who they are.
The community living room is a home away from home, where people can feel safe and heard and can be introduced to other people and services if needed.
